Perfectly situated on the foreshore overlooking the inviting waters of Hervey Bay, the Torquay Beachfront Caravan Park is smack bang in the heart of one of Hervey Bay's most vibrant areas. Being located right on the beach, it's a fabulous place to wet a line or have a summer paddle. Feeling fit? You can walk, cycle or rollerblade the length of Hervey Bay along our 14 kilometre scenic paved pathway that meanders the Esplanade. Why not boost your fitness regime and try out the exercise stations placed along the Esplanade walkway. Stroll across the street and you'll have your pick of shops, hotels, cafes and restaurants. You'll discover great coffee, a multicultural array of delicious foods and a multitude of ways to have fun. Yearning to catch a sea breeze? Sailing enthusiasts can take advantage of the adjacent Sailing Club and boat ramp, or stroll down to the Beach Hire Kiosk and climb aboard a jet ski or mini catamaran. Nature lovers can take advantage of two awe-inspiring experiences. Ideally situated to use as a central base for a variety of day trips, the park offers booking facilities and bus pick-up for Fraser Island Tours (year round) and Whale Watch Trips (July-November). If you do nothing else when you come to Hervey Bay, both are eco-adventures not to be missed. Maybe you'd rather just potter around the park.
