Ideally situated to use as a central base for a variety of day trips, the park offers booking facilities and bus pick-up for Fraser Island Tours (year round) and Whale WatchTrips (July-November). If you do nothing else when you come to Hervey Bay, both are eco-adventures not to be missed.

You’ll find yourself close to two of Hervey Bay’s largest shopping centres, as well as the cinema and great dining and entertainment at a selection of restaurants, cafes, hotels and Hervey Bay’s ultra modern RSL Club.

If you’re an avid golfer or just enjoy the odd nine holes, unpack your clubs and head to nearby Hervey Bay Golf Club, or practice your swing at the local driving range. If it’s adventure you’re seeking, take a turn on the Go-Karts, while train buffs will marvel at the detail of M & K Model Railways Miniature Railway Village and Gardens.
