Accommodation Price List

PIALBA, SCARNESS & TORQUAY CARAVAN PARKS

1. Extra charges may apply for larger vehicles/encroachment onto other sites
2. Rates are subject to review at Council's discretion
3. "Day" shall mean from 10.00am on one day to 10.00am the following day, or part thereof
4. "Children" are defined as up to and including Grade 10 or 15 years of age
5. After a continuous stay greater than 27 days, GST will change from 10% to 5.5%
6. Stays exceeding 5 weeks will be eligible for a 10% discount from the 6th week onwards.
7. Stay 6 nights get the 7th night free (inc elec. charge) except at Christmas, Easter and (city parks only) QLD school holidays
8. Washing machines - $3.00 per load. Dryers - $3.00 per half hour
9. Bookings can be made up to twelve months in advance only, with all bookings subject to any fee increase which may have occurred since the booking was made.
10. A minimum period of stay of three consecutive days over the Christmas, Easter and school holiday periods is required.
11. Deposits:- (Standard fee = 2 adults) All advance bookings (except Christmas bookings exceeding three weeks - see point 5) will be subject to a deposit of $50 or 25% of the standard booking fee (whichever is the greater) up to a maximum of two weeks fees, except where the total cost of a booking is less than $50, in which case, the total amount must be paid in advance when the booking is made.
12. Balance of fees:-
    1. Easter - the balance of the total fee is to be paid in full four weeks prior to Good Friday;
    2. Christmas - For stays up to and including three weeks, the balance of the total fee must be paid in full by the end of October;
    3. Stays up to three weeks (non-Christmas) - the balance of the total fee is to be paid on arrival
    4. Stays exceeding three weeks (non-Christmas) - a further week's fee is to be paid upon arrival. Fees must remain a minimum of two weeks in advance at all times.
13. Christmas stays exceeding three weeks:- 25% of the standard booking fee is to be paid at the time of booking, up to a maximum of two weeks, with a total of at least three weeks fees to have been paid in full by the end of October. Fees must remain at least two weeks in advance at all times.
14. Non-booked stays:- The total fee or two weeks full fees must be paid on arrival (whichever is the lesser) and fees must remain a minimum of two weeks in advance at all times.
15. Refunds are not payable for cancellations made with less than one calendar month's notice given, nor for early departures, without approval from Council, which will only be given in exceptional circumstances. General poor weather conditions are not considered grounds for a refund. All refund requests must be made in writing to the Park Manager, stating reasons for the early departure and including copies of relevant receipts. Refunds will be subject to the deduction of a 20% administration charge.
16. Subject to Refund clause above, where one calendar month's notice of cancellation has been given, deposits and fees paid in advance may either be refunded or transferred to another date within twelve months of the original booking date. However, transfers will be allowed and/or refunds will be payable for two cancellations only, with no transfer and/or refund applicable for any further cancellations.
